What You’ll need

Coconut, peanuts, oatmeal, spices, vanilla, and medjool dates

How to make Jamaican Peanut Punch

Step One:

This recipe calls for raw peanuts which can commonly be found in the produce section of grocery stores. I highly encourage readers to taste at least one to see if they like the taste. If not, roast them for 5-7 minutes in the oven at 375 F then proceed with the recipe.

Combine the peanuts, coconut milk, spices, flax seed, pitted medjool dates, and oats into your blender. Be sure not to blend this over 30 seconds as the oats have the potential to turn slimy if over blended.

Step Two:

Once the peanut punch is blended. Grab a cheese cloth or nut milk bag. Squeeze until all the pulp has been separated and you’re left with a smoothy, silky like liquid consistency. This step is optional however if left in, the fibrous pulp may be uncomfortable to many.

Serve while chilled or over ice and enjoy!

How to store Jamaican Peanut Punch

Jamaican peanut punch is a pretty easy drink to make and best served chilled. If you need to store it in the fridge, be sure not to keep longer than 3 days. If you wish to have it for longer, consider freezing it for up to 2 weeks in a BPA free plastic water bottle. Never store liquids in glass in the freezer as these are prone to cracks and may break easier.
