This watermelon lemonade recipe is so refreshing, only requires 3 ingredients, and is naturally sweetened with apples instead of sugar!

Watermelon lemonade in 3 glasses in front of watermelon

Lemonade is always the perfect way to cool down on a hot day. Watermelon juice has always been a personal favorite of mine because one watermelon can make nearly 2 gallons of juice! Combining this refreshing, high water content fruit with lemons and apples to make watermelon lemonade is a complete game changer!

Sugar free watermelon lemonade

We’ll be using apples to sweeten today’s juice. While you can technically add sugar or agave in place of the apples, I wanted to offer a refined sugar free option.

The apples in this taste so divine and do not over power the lemonade-y taste whatsoever. It simply adds to the refreshing taste and offers more nutrients as well!

How to make watermelon lemonade

Step One:

Chop your watermelon and apples into appropriate sized for your juicer or blender. Slice the skin off the lemon and cut in half. This recipe does not require to add extra water as the watermelon is predominately high water. However, feel free to add water if you feel the need.

Step Two:

If using a juicer, run all the ingredients through until juiced. If using a blender, add in the watermelon first then blend. Once the mixture has become liquid, add in the apples and lemons. Blend once again until thoroughly combined. Strain with a strainer or nut milk bag.

Serve over ice and enjoy!

Recommended Juicer

Kuvings REVO830 reccomended juicer

My favorite juicer ever is the Kuvings REV0830. Not only does it produce high quality cold press juices, I also use it to make nut milks, smoothies, and sorbets! Cold press juicers allow nutrients to last longer than cheaper, high speed juicers. The pulp produced is also very dry meaning the full amount of juice was extracted from the fruit or vegetables. With my cheaper hit speed juicer, my pulp was always wet and runny. This means I was not getting the full amount of juice from my produce.

The Kuvings REV0830 has honestly been such a blessing to my kitchen and can be to yours as well! The warranty is a whopping 10 years with fantastic customer support. Use code ITALEATS for 10% off this beauty and invest in your juicing journey.

Notes for watermelon lemonade

This recipe also tastes divine if adding some ginger or mint. Get as creative as you wish and enjoy a easy, sweet, and refreshing beverage!

How to store watermelon lemonade

Watermelon lemonade will retain its nutrients for 3 days is using a cold press juicer. If using a high speed juicer or blender the nutrients will remain for about 30 minutes to 24 hours.

Either way, the drink will stay fresh and can be enjoyed in the fridge for 4-5 days.
