Chocolate milk brings home so much childhood nostalgia for me. Summers at the waterpark and playing on the DS with my friends. Walking barefoot in the grass looking for honeysuckle flowers. and Drinking a nice tall glass of chocolate milk. Here is an incredibly delicious and healthy homemade chocolate milk recipe that will be the best you’ve ever had!

This chocolate milk is free from refined sugars and low quality chocolate syrup the tastes like chemicals. We’re using anti-oxidant rich cacao powder and maple syrup with a splash of vanilla for the most rich chocolate milk ever.
What You’ll Need- Homemade Chocolate Milk

-
Milk of choice– I used a cashew almond blend and it was amazing!
-
Cacao Powder- Different from cocoa powder with more health benefits, but you can use cocoa powder if you wish!
-
Salt- Optional, just a pinch is meant to bring out extra sweetness
-
Vanilla
-
Maple Syrup
How to make Homemade Chocolate Milk
Step One:
Using an immersion blender or regular blender, combine all your ingredients and blend for up to 60 seconds. You want to make sure there are no cacao powder lumps leftover.
Step Two:
Serve chilled and enjoy!

How to store Homemade Chocolate Milk
Storage depends on the type of milk used. If you used a homemade nut milk like me, it will last about 3 days in the fridge.
However if you used store bought milk, it can potentially last up to 7 days. Always be sure to do the smell test before drinking if you are consuming after the 3-4 day range!
