Health Benefits of Cinnamon Tea
I often have cinnamon tea mixed with ginger because not only does it make me feel happy and healthy, it majorly helps with my cramps during that time of the month!
Cinnamon is also packed with anti-oxidants and helps to reduce inflammation so this is a great thing to drink when I’m bloated.
There has also been research showing that cinnamon tea may help with not only weight loss, but regulating blood sugar as well. All the more reason to enjoy a nice hot glass every once in a while!

What You’ll Need
- Cinnamon- The stick or powder
- Water
How to make easy cinnamon tea
Step One:
Place your cinnamon (stick or powder) into a small sauce pan along with the water. Allow this just to reach a boil and then turn the heat on low and simmer for the next 10 minutes.
Step Two:
Note: When using cinnamon sticks, the color might not be as vibrant as using the powder. Also, the longer you let the tea simmer, the brighter the color and taste!
Allow the tea to cool a bit before drinking and enjoy as is or with any additives listed down below.
What else to add to cinnamon tea
- Ginger- I always pair with ginger to make the perfect anti-cramp tea.
- Honey- As a sweetener, or agave for vegans.
- Lemon- Adds a little refreshing citrus kick!
- Cardamon
