What is Apple Cider?
Apple cider is a warming drink typically enjoyed during the colder seasons. It’s made by boiling and simmer down different varities of apples, oranges, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices for several hours. It can be served hot or cold depending on your mood.
However, this recipe is only going to take 15 minutes as we will be juicing our apples & oranges cold pressed! This recipe will not only have 100x more health benefits, but also takes only a fraction of the amount of time to make.

Recommended Juicer- Homemade Apple Cider
For today’s juice, I’m using my new favorite cold press juicer, the Kuvings Auto10. It is a bit pricey but has a generous 15 year warranty and can also make nut milks, sorbet, ice cream, and of course juices.
Use code ITALEATS for 10% off all Kuvings juicers via this link! Check out the Kuvings USA (or whichever country your location is) website to view other models such as the C7000 and Ev0820.
The pulp produced is also extremely dry which means you get the most out of your money. When I had a cheaper high speed juicer, the pulp was extremely wet and I had to run it through several times.
Kuvings also offers other models at affordable prices as well as a monthly payment plan.
Be sure to use my code ITALEATS during checkout to receive $70 off all the juice models Kuvings has to offer!

How to make Homemade Apple Cider
Step One:
Cut your produce (peel the skin off the orange) in the appropriate size for your juicer or blender. Measure out your spices and save this until the end.
Step Two:
Juicer: Juice the product in the juicer and strain if necessary. Whisk in the water, spices, and optional agave to taste. Serve warm or over ice and enjoy!
Blender: Add the water along with the produce and spices into a blender and blend until everything is combined. Strain with a nut milk bag or strainer and enjoy.
How to store Homemade Apple Cider Recipe
Storing depends on the method of juice extraction. If using a cold press juicer, the nutrients can last for 3 days and be consumed up to 6 days. If using a blender or high speed juicer, the nutrients will last for about 30 minutes and can be consumed for up to 6 days.
Freezing is also a method. Store in a silicone ice cube tray and freeze for up to 2.5 weeks. When its time to consume, let it thaw out for a few hours and drink cold or pop out a few ice cubes into a small sauce pan and heat for about 5 or so minutes and (carefully) enjoy warm.
