This cinnamon leaf iced tea features a Jamaican herb that most people don’t even talk about! It tastes so warming and refreshing, and is loaded with different herbs that may help with menstrual pain and menopause!
Jamaica is such a likkle beanie island but is filled with countless amounts of herbs. Wi likkle but wi tallawah fi real! Common cold, flu, erectile dysfunction, menstrual cramps, you name it!
Today’s iced tea is loaded with a whul heap a herbs, but the star of the show is Jamaican cinnamon leaf! It gives the tea a nice, warming sensation and when’s sweetened with cold pressed apple juice? It’s just chef’s kiss. This iced tea is the perfect way to cool down in hot weather!

What is Cinnamon Leaf?
Cinnamon leaf tea is exactly what it sounds like, it’s the leaf from a cinnamon tree! It has a very fragrant smell and tastes so warming. The leaf adds such a delicious and comforting flavor to teas!

Cinnamon leaf is also loaded with plenty of health benefits. They’re extremely anti-inflammatory, packed with antioxidants, and may help with period pain as well.
What you’ll need- Tea for Menstrual Cramps

Jamaican Cinnamon Leaf– I purchased mine in Jamaica but you may also be able to find in Indian stores. You can also purchase a bag here!

Red Raspberry Leaf– An absolute staple herb when dealing with womb health. Grab a bag or organic tea here!

Marshmallow Root– Provides anti-inflammatory properties and may help to ease bloating during that time of the month. Get a bag using this link.

Fennel Seeds– This can easily be found at asian supermarkets (in the USA) or sometimes even regular grocery stores!

Vervain– Can help with so many things such as hormone balance, digestion, pain, and may ease cramping during that time of the month. Use this link to get a bag!

How to store Cinnamon Leaf Iced tea
This cinnamon leaf iced tea can store in the fridge for 3-5 days, but I usually finish it before then!
I like to combine in a large liter jar and serve in a small glass with ice whenever I’m ready. Easy fi mek, easy fi store, and super delicious too!

Cinnamon Leaf Iced Tea (womb healing)
Ingredients
- 5-7 leaves Jamaican Cinnamon Leaf crushed, adds a "warm" flavor
- 2 Teaspoons Red Raspberry Leaf
- 1 Teaspoon Marshmallow Root Tea
- 1 Teaspoon Vervain
- 1 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds
- 750 mL Water around 3 cups
- 6-7 Apples or 500 ml apple juice
- 2 Lemons
Instructions
- Put all of your dried herbs into a small sauce pan with the water on medium heat and allow to reach to a boil.
- Once the tea has reached a boil, turn off the heat and allow to simmer for the next 15-30 minutes.
- While the tea is seeping, either make your apple/lemon juice or find a brand that offers cold pressed apple juice.
- Once the tea has cooled completely, combine with the fresh juice. Feel free to add more or less apple juice a you desire.Serve over ice and enjoy!
Notes
- The tea will be strong! If you’re new to herbs, feel free to half the measurements, this is your healing journey after all (:
- You can seep/cook the herbs twice (make two batches) for optimal ingredient usage!
