This authentic Jamaican carrot juice is absolutely refreshing, creamy, and completely dairy free. Its the perfect beverage to pair with a delicious meal or a great way to cool down on a hot day.
What is Jamaican Carrot Juice?
Jamaican carrot juice is a delicious refreshing drink that is commonly served with a nice, Sunday dinner. It is creamy and light, sweetened with condensed milk. Today, we’ll be using a vegan dairy free coconut condensed milk. It will have all the delicious creaminess of regular condensed milk without the stomach ache that comes from dairy.
Seasoned with spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, this beverage is great to enjoy any time of year. Whether it may be summer time and cooling down with an ice cold glass. Or winter time reminiscing on the warming flavors this drink has. Its easy to make and a great way to get children (or adults) to reap the health benefits from carrots.

Recommended Juicer
I always use a Kuvings REV0830 juicer when making juices. This is honestly my favorite juicer ever. It is a cold press juicer which means the nutrients are able to last longer compared to a cheaper, high speed juicer. It also produces extremely dry pulp which means you get the most out of your produce. When I had a cheaper juicer, my pulp was always wet which means I wasn’t getting as much juice as possible.
Kuvings’ cold press juicers not only make high quality juices but can also make frozen sorbet, nut milks, and smoothies! I’ve used it to make oat milk, coconut milk, banana nice cream, and juices! Though it comes at a high price tag, it offers a 10 year warranty and is probably the best juicer on the market.
The Blender method
Jamaican carrot juice can easily be made with a blender. Simply put all of the carrots into the machine along with water and ginger blend until well combined and smooth. Using a nut milk bag, strain until all the pulp has been seperated.
I love using the Nutribullet 1200 watt 64 ounce blender. Its a great powerful blender around $100 USD and gets the job done! I use it for smoothies, pureed soups, and smoothie bowls.
How to make Jamaican Carrot Juice
Step One:
Juicer Method: Run all of the carrots & ginger through your juicer. Once the juice is fully extracted, add a bit of water to make the juice stretch.
Blender Method: Chop your carrots into pieces appropriate for your blender and blend with water and the ginger. Once blender and smooth, strain with a nut milk bag to properly filter the pulp.
Step Two:
Both Methods:
Once the juice has been been extracted, mix in the vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vegan condensed milk to taste. Serve while chilled or over ice and enjoy!
How to store Jamaican Carrot Juice
Due to the coconut milk in this drink, Jamaican carrot juice can last in the fridge for about 3 to 4 days. Its best served while cold and tastes amazing with ice served along side a hearty dinner.
If you want it to last longer, store in a plastic water bottle in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. This Caribbean spiced carrot juice pairs beautifully with vegan Jamaican food to wash everything down. Need some recipe inspiration? Check out all the authentic vegan Jamaican recipes on the food blog.
