Originating from West Africa, sorrel is huge in Jamaica and other Caribbean recipes. However, most people don’t know it also has many health benefits in terms of womb health!
Health Benefits of Sorrel and Hibiscus Flower
Sorrel and hibiscus come from the same family, but they are not quite. The picture below is of sorrel; hibiscus is more of a broad term that includes many different types of flowers, including sorrel. However, both taste very similar and offer nearly identical health benefits!
Sorrel not only tastes delicious, but serves great healing properties for the womb. It is said that both sorrel and hibiscus may help with menstrual cramps, menopause symptoms, and is even high in iron.

We’re boosting the healing benefits of this tea by adding red raspberry leaf. This herb does absolute WONDERS for women healing from painful periods. Red raspberry leaf is also reported to be great for pregnant women as well!
