We all know and love buffalo cauliflower wings but mek wi add a likkle Jamaican flair and make some delicious jerk bbq cauliflower wings!

These bites are so easy to make and the perfect appetizer! Whether you want to serve it with rice or top with scallion and serve as a starter, these wings are tasty, simple, and so versatile.

Cauliflower wings are a vegan staple that usually cost quite a bit when you go to a restaurant. So we’re going to make it ourselves for just a fraction of the price!

What You’ll Need- Jerk BBQ Cauliflower Wings

cauliflower head, ketchup, barbecue sauce, flour, jerk paste, seasoning,
  • Onion Powder
  • Flour
  • Garlic Powder
  • Black Pepper
  • Jamaican All Purpose– a must for all Jamaican inspired recipes, use this link to grab your own bottle.
  • Plant Milk
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Jerk Paste Can be found in the international section in most non-Jamaican stores but if you can’t, grab your jar using this link!
  • Ketchup

How to make Jerk BBQ Cauliflower Wings

Step One:

Cut your cauliflower head into smaller/desired sized pieces. wash and dry them and set to the side.

Step Two:

Pour the plant milk in one bowl. In another, combine the dry seasonings with the flour and salt and mix.

Step Three:

Dip each cauliflower bite into the milk first and then the flour, making sure every crevice is well coated.

Set all of the cauliflower pieces on the rack and airfare on 400 F/204 C for about 15 minutes.

In the meantime, combine the bbq sauce, ketchup, and jerk paste in a small bowl

Step Four:

Once the cauliflower is cooked, grab a cooking brush and brush the sauce on. Serve and enjoy!

How to store Jerk BBQ Wings

It’s best to eat the jerk cauliflower wings immediately instead of saving them for later. However, if you wish to make them ahead, the storing method is very important. Cook the wings, allow them to cool, and store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Once you’re ready to eat them, reheat in the air fryer for 400 F up to 7 minutes, top with the sauce and enjoy!

    I see the the recipe you mentioned milk but I don’t see it in the ingredients section. How much milk is needed?

      Hi Tanya!

      Thanks for mentioning that, it has been fixed in the recipe box and the correct measurement for the milk is 1/2 a cup.
