3 glasses of blueberry lemonade with lemon slice

Lemonade is one of the best ways to cool down on a hot day. Blueberries are one of my favorite fruits because they’re so juicy and sweet! Combining these berries with lemons and apple make for and extremely antioxidant rich and refreshing juice.

We’ll be using apples to sweeten today’s juice. While you can technically add sugar or agave in place of the apples, I wanted to offer a refined sugar free option.

The apples in this taste so divine and do not over power the lemonade-y or blueberry taste whatsoever. It simply adds to the refreshing taste and offers more nutrients as well!

What you’ll need- Sugar Free Blueberry Lemonade

Sliced lemon, blueberries, and apples
  • Blueberries– (obvious, right?)
  • Lemons- (also pretty obvious)
  • Apples- (natural sweetener used instead of sugar)
  • Water– Coconut water tastes divine as well!

Recommended Juicer

My absolute favorite juicer in the world is the REV0830 by the brand Kuvings. They made high quality, top notch cold press juicers that are far superior to high speed juicers! Their machinery has 10+ year warranty, great customer service team, and a quiet machine that doesn’t wake up the whole house.

The main different between juicing with a cold press juicer and a high speed juicer/blender is the process of juice extraction. High speed juicers/blenders slightly heat up the produce causing nutrients to be lost. Cold press juicer extract the juice via slow methods and allow the nutrients to be present for a whole 72 hours. How to make Blueberry Lemonade

Step One:

Soak your blueberries and apples in vinegar and baking soda for at least 15 minutes. This will help to remove any bugs or pests sides that may remain on the food. Peel your lemons, de-seed, and chop into halves.

Step Two:

If using a juicer, run all the ingredients through until juiced. Add in the water and stir to combine.

If using a blender, add in the water along with the fruit. Blend until thoroughly combined. Strain with a strainer or nut milk bag.

Serve over ice and enjoy!
