What is white bean dip?

This amazing snack is somewhat similar to hummus but at the same time completely different. It’s made with cannellini or navy beans which are a lot creamier and smoother in consistency compared to chickpeas.

This dip is also creamy and a lot easier to make than hummus! While homemade hummus is delicious and quite simple, this white bean dip only takes five minutes and is the ultimate snack quick vegan recipe!

It’s also perfect to take to parties to have as an appetizer or increase the serving for an at home game day viewing.

What you’ll need

beans, lemon, garlic, and spices
  • Cannellini Beans
  • Garlic
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Olive Oil
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Lemon Juice
  • Cayenne
  • Water
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt

How to make white bean dip

Step One:

Chop up the garlic into small pieces so that it blends easily. Add all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender. Run the pulser for at least 1.5 minutes and add more water if desired.

Note: Use a food processor for easiest blending.

Step Two:

The dip is ready when everything is creamy and well combined. Serve onto a plate or bowl and top with extra olive oil and chopped parsley alongside tortilla chips or pita bread and enjoy!

This herby white bean dip can safely store in the fridge for up to 5 days! It’s a great addition to a lunch box with chips and pairs well with warmed bread.
