Lemonade for Menstrual Cramps
This quick and easy to make lemonade for menstrual cramps combines herbal tea with lemon juice and maple syrup for a delicious and womb healing drink that may help with period pain!
Ingredients
- 4 Lemons
- 1.5 Teaspoons Fennel Seeds
- 2 Teaspoons Red Raspberry Leaf
- 2 Teaspoons Chamomille
- 4-7 Tablespoons Maple Syrup more or less to your liking
- 2 Cups Water for the tea
- 1.5 Cups Water to add into the lemonade
Instructions
- Cover the herbs with boiling water and allow to seep for the next 10-15 minutes. Feel free to allow it to seep for longer if you wish.
- Go ahead and juice your lemons and set to the side. Once the tea has seeped, allow it to cool down completely or pour n a bowl with ice to instantly cool down. Combine the lemon juice with extra water and maple syrup to sweeten. Serve iced in your favorite glass and enjoy!
Notes
- The chamomile gives this drink a beautiful floral flavor, don’t skip it!
- For an even stronger and more medicinal drink, allow the herbs to seep overnight.
