1.5CupWaterfor blending with pepper mixture harissa
2.5CupsWatermore or less- for cooking lentils, add more if needed

Instructions
Chop up your tomato tomatoes, onion, and red bell pepper and toss into a blender along with garlic and water. Blend until the mixture is smooth and liquid.
Wash your lentils and place into a large pot. Add in the liquid mixture along with some extra water for cooking and the dry seasonings. Allow to cook for the next 20 minutes or so.
Salt to taste, serve with your choice of grain and enjoy!
