This decadent yet easy to make hibiscus simple syrup is perfect to make homemade sodas, pour over iced cream, or add a unique flavor to iced coffee or matcha lattes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Dried Hibiscus Flowers use 3/4 cup for less intense flavor!
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Agave Syrup
  • 1.5 Teaspoon Ginger grated

Instructions
 

  • Combine the sugar, water, grated ginger and dried hibiscus in a pot and put the heat on low medium.
  • Once the pot reached a bubble (should take about 3-5 minutes, turn the heat on low and allow to simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and let sit covered for another 5 or so minutes. Wait until it cools and store in the fridge up to two weeks and enjoy!
