Delicious Lemongrass Tea Recipe

This easy to make homemade lemongrass tea recipe is so incredibly delicious, comforting, and is loaded with health benefits!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 stalks Lemongrass with or without the leaves
  • 1 thumb Ginger
  • 1 Lime slices & squeezed
  • 1 liter Water

Instructions
 

  • Smash and break up your lemongrass so that it's flat and fragrant. This step is very important as to make the aroma and taste properly steep into the tea.
    Squeeze out the juice from your lime and optional to also include the skin in the tea. Grate or chop your ginger and combine everything in a small sauce pot.

  • Bring the tea just to a boil then turn down the heat and allow to simmer for the next 10-15 minutes. The longer it simmers and seeps, the stronger the flavor and aroma.
    Strain once the time is up and serve with optional sweetener!
